Innovation North's Speaker Series: Navigating Complexity: (Non) Interventions through Systemic Desig

When:  Feb 6, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 (ET)

Colleagues,

Innovation North’s next speaker on systems innovation is Tobias Luthe, who will present Navigating Complexity: (Non) Interventions through Systemic Design. In this talk, Tobias will explore why, where, when, and how we should (or should not) intervene in complex systems. Shifting from external “engineering” solutions to fostering emergence from within, he’ll discuss how entrepreneurs act to change systems, the science behind their actions, and the strategies that guide these changes.

Tobias Luthe is the director of the "Designing Resilient Regenerative Systems" program at ETH Zurich and leads the ETH Systemic Design Labs group. He is also the founding director of the MonViso Institute (MVI) in the Italian Alps, where he designed the passive net-positive “regenerator” house, Il Doppio.

The event will take place online on February 6 from 10-11 AM EST.
