The Department of Information, Operations and Management Sciences – Information Management (IM) Division at TBS Education seeks to recruit an Assistant/Associate Professor in the field of Information Systems to develop its reputation for excellence in research and high-quality teaching. The position will be based in Barcelona. The Division of Information Management brings together 13 faculty members whose recent publications include articles in IS leading journals such as the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Information Technology, Information Systems Journal, and Decision Support Systems.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Information Systems (or related fields) and should possess excellent teaching abilities, as well as the potential to publish in leading academic journals. They may have demonstrated these qualities during their post-doctoral experience and/or during previous employment. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in English and/or Spanish, at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to develop lectures in their field of expertise at the graduate and executive education levels. Candidates with knowledge of programming and data analytics are highly encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will have defended their Ph.D. in the past five years and have a successful first experience in academia or digital marketing.
