INTRODUCING
Pi-Squared: Private Innovation in the Public Interest
Anita McGahan
i
s
excite
d to announce a new initiative called
Pi-Squared
for "private innovation in the public interest" offered through the
Burnes Center for Social Change
at Northeastern University. The purpose
of Pi-Squared
is to
develop
new insights on how leaders in companies can
effectively
pursue public goals.
The starting point is a series of conversations
with
experts
in our community on issues of corporate social responsibility, ESG investing, and public-private collaboration
. We
talk about why we've hit
a
roadblock on progress and what it will take to overcome
resistance to C
SR. The approach takes the view that
organizations need
sophisticated
strategies that account for the reasons that we have the problems we seek to solve
. We hope you'll
join us
.
