    Postdoctoral Position in Strategy, Organization and Technology (f/m/d)
    (full-time 100%, salary grade up to TV-L E14 according to "Tarifvertrag für den Öffentlichen Dienst der Länder")

    The successful candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary and international research group comprising management and economics scholars. The postholder is expected to engage in developing ambitious research projects, publish in top academic journals and contribute to the development of the group. The post is financed by a third-party funded interdisciplinary project on "Digital Collaboration Platforms", and the successful candidate will devote part of their time to developing and working on studies related to the project.

    Prerequisites for this position are a doctoral degree (completed or about to be completed) in a relevant field, outstanding research potential, and capacity for teamwork. Experience with quantative data analysis either at the firm or individual level is essential, and an interest in research on the strategic and organizational implications of digital technologies is desirable. Prior experience in (lab or field) experimental settings is an advantage.

    The position is a fixed-term appointment for three years. A conversion to an indefinite (tenured) position is not possible. The starting date for the appointment can be set upon mutual agreement, but should be no later that 15th April 2022.

    ISTO offers a dynamic and international environment, with research and travel budget available for the members of the institute. ISTO also participates in the Organizational Research Group (ORG), organizing regular seminar series and hosting leading international scholars.

    LMU Munich provides newly appointed faculty with various types of support, including welcome services.
