    Colleagues –

     

    The following position announcement is active for the ICIS job market, but we find our AOM reach expands beyond that catchment. The position is available for Assistant Professor through Associate, and is tenure-track with a market-based salary. Reps will be in Austin for interviews.

     

    LOUISIANA TECH COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT: The CIS department offers an undergraduate major and minor, an information assurance concentration in the College's MBA, and undergraduate and graduate certificates in information assurance. Undergraduate and graduate certificates in business analytics are in the final stages of approval. The department also offers a DBA as a traditional, full-time, residency-based research degree program. Recent CIS DBA graduates have held positions at respected universities including Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, and Baylor. Department faculty are active professionally, holding leadership and editorial positions related to AIS, ACM, and IFIP. The department is the current home of The Data Base for Advances in Information Systems, the oldest continuously-published information systems journal.
