Royal Roads University is delighted to announce two virtual design thinking events.

    1. For students: Teams are invited to register in the Royal Roads Design Thinking Challenge -- This online event is focused on using design thinking to promote civic good. It is a student competition with $10,000 in prizes, but more importantly, it is an educational event. Judges act as mentors, who help students develop design thinking skills. We limit the event to 12 teams, so that each team can receive meaningful feedback at each step of the process. The live event is March 4-7, 2022. (Round 1, which happens asynchronously happens Jan 31-Feb 28). All details here: https://royalroadsdesignthinkingchallenge.ca . There are three spots left. Please register by December 20, 2021.

    2. For faculty: Faculty are invited to attend the Design Thinking Educators Conference (March 6, 2022)-- This one-day online conference is an opportunity for anyone using design thinking (DT) in the classroom or workplace to share ideas, tools, and resources, and to connect with others who are also engaging in DT.

The conference program will include workshops on multiple aspects of design thinking.

Details are here, with more to follow:  https://royalroadsdesignthinkingconference.ca
