    Call for Abstracts: Racial Equity in Technology Entrepreneurship (RETE) Workshop

    Workshop Date and Location: June 12-14, 2024, Rutgers University Business School, Newark, NJ

    Overview: The RETE Workshop is a premier event that brings together thought leaders, researchers, and practitioners to explore the theme of "Inclusive Innovation: Policy and Racial Equity Implications." This workshop aims to foster dialogue, share research, and inspire collaborative efforts toward a more equitable future in innovation and technology entrepreneurship. We invite researchers to submit abstracts for research papers related to this theme. Selected submissions will be invited to present during research paper sessions during the workshop. Full accommodations will be provided to scholars selected to present. This includes travel expenses to Newark, NJ, hotel accommodations, and meals.

    Topics/Themes Include (but are not limited to):

    Submission Guidelines:

    Abstract Limit: 500 words maximum

    Format: Structured abstract (Introduction, Methods, Results (if available), Policy Implications)

    Submission Deadline: March 1, 2024

     Relevant Policies: 

    - Submissions must be original and not previously published in any journal, conference proceedings, or white paper series.

    - Submissions should be the original works of the author and not primarily generated using any authoring tool, including generative AI or similar technologies. Authors must disclose the application of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in their writing process using the following disclosure statement.

    Disclosure Statement: The author(s) utilized [NAME TOOL / SERVICE] for [SPECIFIC PURPOSE]. Subsequent to this tool/service usage, the author(s) thoroughly reviewed and revised the content, thereby assuming complete responsibility for the content. Note: This declaration is not relevant to basic tools used for grammar, spelling, reference checks, etc. Absence of such usage necessitates no disclosure statement.
