***Friendly reminder now that AOM acceptances are out and applications are due April 22***

The Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Meeting is a central part of the DEI division activities. Attending the meeting in person provides several benefits to DEI members: presenting research and receiving valuable feedback, connecting with scholars working on similar research topics, attending professional development and methodology workshops, expanding and strengthening professional networks.

The DEI Executive team wants to ensure participation from DEI members who live and work in underrepresented regions of the world and who are often unable to attend the meeting in person due to limited financial support from their institutions. As a result, we are offering our first-ever DEI AOM Conference Scholarships (DACS). The purpose of the DACS initiative is to support members who otherwise would not be able to attend the AOM meeting in person so that they can present their accepted papers.

    Eligibility:
Members currently living or working in underrepresented regions of the world, particularly in countries that have fewer than 10 DEI members, including:
    - Africa
    - Underrepresented parts of Asia (excluding China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, and Singapore)
    - Underrepresented parts of Eastern and Southern Europe (excluding Italy and Spain)
    - Central and South America (excluding Brazil)

    Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following criteria to apply for DACS:
    - Current DEI Division member
    - Currently living and working in a country identified above as an underrepresented region
    - Have an accepted paper (not a symposium or PDW) to be presented at the 2024 AOM Annual Meeting in Chicago
    - Complete submission of the DACS application form here.

***The deadline to submit your DACS application is Monday 22nd April 2024 (17:00 ET, USA)***

The scholarships will be awarded based on the papers that have received the highest scores in the review system. For questions or additional information about DACS, please contact Sanjeewa (Sanjee) Perera.
