SUBJECT: Annual Meeting Scholarships for Students and Junior Faculty
HCM, with a little extra help from AOM, has several scholarships and registration fee waivers to help cover the cost of the AOM annual meeting attendance.
Eligibility: Travel scholarships are available to doctoral students who are HCM division members who may be more likely to attend the annual meeting with some financial assistance.
Priority will be given to students who have NOT previously received scholarship support, and/or who have some involvement in the 2023 program (i.e., PDW, paper, leadership positions).
Please note, these scholarships cannot be used to reimburse the cost of annual meeting registrations already paid.
AOM also has provided some waivers to cover annual meeting registration fees for individuals, which could include doctoral students or junior faculty.
Deadline: April 30, 2023
Application Process: To request a scholarship or registration waiver, please send an email to the HCM Chair-Elect Cheryl Rathert (Cheryl.rathert@slu.edu) using the subject line HCM Annual Meeting Scholarships.
In your email, please indicate:
1. whether or not you are presenting a paper, are part of a PDW, or leadership team at the annual meeting, and
2. how you meet the eligibility requirements listed above.
Please don't let financial burden prevent you from participating in the Annual Meeting. We want everyone to be able to join in.
