International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction (Impact factor: 4.84, CiteScore: 6.5) is hosting a special issue entitled "Technological advancements in humanitarian aid". The special issue calls for papers that investigate technological advancements of any form in health and humanitarian aid, particularly humanitarian logistics, through empirical research. The application of both traditional (e.g., barcodes or RFID) and emerging technologies (e.g., digital vouchers, 3D printing, drones, etc.) are welcomed.
