As the submission portal closes today, we want to encourage all HCM members to sign up to serve as a reviewer for the Annual Meeting, even if you do not intend to submit to or attend this year's meeting. AOM's p
eer review ensures that the HCM Division's scholarly sessions continue to be of the highest quality and allows engaged members like you to take an active role in our program. Additionally, as a reviewer you are automatically considered for the Division's Outstanding Reviewer Award, which is announced at the Division Business meeting and acknowledged on our Awards webpage.
If you sign up before this Friday, January 13, you have a significantly higher probability of being matched with manuscripts that align with your content expertise thanks to AOM's reviewer matching algorithm. After the 13th, you are matched via the Program Chair's Whims (PCW) algorithm, which hasn't been rigorously tested.
To sign up, please visit the Reviewer Center: https://reviewer.aom.org/2023/default.aspx. Select HCM from the list of sponsors and use the keywords to indicate your special areas of knowledge and interest.
Reviewers have an entire month to complete their reviews (typically mid-January to mid-February). Historically, HCM Reviewers review 2-3 submissions.
