HCM has several $300 monetary awards to help defray some of the costs of AOM annual meeting attendance.
Eligibility: Monetary awards are available to doctoral students who are HCM division members and may be more likely to attend the annual meeting with some financial assistance.
Priority will be given to students who have NOT previously received scholarship support and who have some involvement in the 2024 program (i.e., PDW or paper presentations, leadership team members).
These monetary awards are cash payments, made available by HCM's gracious sponsors, and can be used in any way to help defray the costs of attending this year's annual meeting.
Application Process: To request one of these monetary awards, please send an email to the HCM Chair-Elect Nick Edwardson (nedwardson@unm.edu) using the subject line HCM Annual Meeting Monetary Awards.
In your email, please indicate:
- whether or not you are presenting a paper, are part of a PDW, or are a leadership team member at the annual meeting, and
- how you meet the eligibility requirements listed above.
These monetary awards will be distributed to eligible applicants on a first-come, first-served basis.
