Best wishes to all in 2024. I want to echo Dierdre's suggested New Year's resolution to please sign up as an HCM reviewer for this year's conference!
As a reminder, we all need to sign up to review each year, even if we have reviewed in the past. Our reviewers help the division plan a top quality program. You are welcome to review even if you are not planning to attend the conference this year.
Also, be on the lookout over the next few weeks for calls for nominations for various HCM awards, and start thinking now about deserving colleagues who you might nominate. Each year we solicit nominations for a teaching award, three career-level research awards, and a service award. Info about award criteria and past winners can be found on the HCM website under the Awards tab, or here: Awards Overview & Recent Winners
Finally, we appreciate all of you who have been working hard the past few weeks and months to submit your high-quality papers, symposia, and workshops for the 2024 conference! Many thanks to Amber Stephenson (PDW Chair), Deirdre McCaughey (Program Chair), and Geoffrey Silvera (Membership Committee Chair and Socials Coordinator) who have been working diligently behind the scenes to create an excellent program! I assure you they have some fun surprises in store.
