    WÜRZBURG INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS FORUM

    6th INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS CONFERENCE

    22 - 23 June 2023, in Würzburg

International Business with New Challenges and Entrepreneurial Opportunities

The Würzburg International Business Forum is proud to announce that its 6th International Business Conference (WIBF-IBC) will be hosted by the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS) in Würzburg, Germany between 22 - 23 June 2023 with the partnership of Doğuş University, the Global Alliance SME Research & Cooperation (GASMERC), IHK Mainfranken, and the Transnational Corporations Council of Studies (TNCCS).

The conference is designed to bring together outcome of current research. And it will have three major tracks:

The first track is on 'Country Risk and International Political Risk Management' This track is led by Prof. Alfredo Jimenez, KEDGE Business School, France. Alfredo is a leading researcher in this field.

The second track is on 'Fostering Entrepreneurial Mindset', and the track chair is Dr. Tiina Brandt, Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, Finland. Tiina is currently leading an international research team of academics from 15 countries about culture and entrepreneurship.

The third track is on 'International Business with focus on Entrepreneurship and SMEs'. Track Chairs are Prof. Emin Akcaoglu & Prof. Rainer Wehner, Würzburg International Business Forum.

The details of the tracks can be found in the Call for Papers' page.

The conference offers an excellent opportunity to meet thought leaders and professionals from around the world to exchange information and ideas on a variety of international business topics. Extended abstracts (minimum 3 pages), full papers and case study presentations are invited. All accepted full papers and extended abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings volume in an electronic book with an ISBN number by the Würzburg International Business Press.

In addition, some selected papers would be also published in a Special Issue of the Transnational Corporations Review (TNCR) after further development and the Journal's usual review process. TNCR, a SCOPUS indexed journal, is regularly published by Routledge (Taylor & Francis Group). (For detailed information about the journal: https://www.tandfonline.com/toc/rncr20/current)

Since the Coronovirus Pandemic, the conference has been a hybrid event. In other words, the conference will be partly "face-to-face in Würzburg" and partly "online". Therefore, the prospective participants can utilise both options. (To this end, the participation fees are dependent upon the type of participation - please see the Fees, Registration and Payment page. Those participants who initially pay online fees can later change their participation type to physical conference participation in Würzburg by paying the additional amount (only the difference) if they then prefer and are able to travel to Würzburg on the actual dates).

    Best regards
