Join us for a symposium with Steve Altman (NYU Stern), Heather Berry (GWU School of Business), Witold Henisz (UPenn Wharton), Jakob Müllner (WU Vienna), Thomas Lindner (University of Innsbruck), and myself on advances in conceptualizing and measuring globalization and cross-national distance. The symposium will be moderated by Sinziana Dorobantu (NYU Stern).

Globalization developed into a megatrend with substantial impact on the daily life of individuals, on the economic prospects of firms, and on the social fabric of nations. In the symposium we will discuss globalization and related concepts such as de-globalization and cross-national distance. Moreover, we will highlight new measures and novel data sources that allow to operationalize globalization and its dynamics.
