    Dear Colleagues,

How can employees effectively communicate with each other despite their anger? COB Organizational Wisdom Studio's new episode, "Moving the Plot" provides novel suggestions when addressing this question from the lens of theater. Acclaimed theater actor Ms. Elisabeth Nunziato shares insights with Professor Hakan Ozcelik about the topic by drawing on her performance in the "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?", the legendary play that portrays the story of an intensely angry couple. In an interdisciplinary conversation integrating these insights with organizational research, the episode explores how managers who listen with empathy and the boundaries set by organizational rituals and roles can help employees go beneath the anger to improve their work relationships.
