    Thank you for your interest and support for this year's AI in Management Conference (AIM), held in March 2024 in Los Angeles. (The program can be found here: https://sites.google.com/view/aimanagement/aim2024). We are now delighted to announce the winners of the Best Student Paper Awards. With an exceptionally competitive pool this year, our selection process required additional time and careful deliberation.

    Vithala Rao Award for Best PhD Student Paper at AIM 2024 ($5,000 prize)

    • Xizhao Wang (Managerial Econ, Kellogg, Northwestern) for "Innovation Commercialization and Patent Disclosure" (Advisor: Benjamin F. Jones)

    Jag Sheth Award for Best PhD Student Paper at AIM 2024 ($5,000 prize)

    • Annie Shi (Marketing, Olin, Wash U) for "Using Algorithmic Scores to Measure the Impact of Targeting Promotional Messages" (Co-advisors: Tat Chan and Dennis Chang)

    Gerard Tellis Award for Excellence in Research at AIM 2024 (Co-winners share a $5,000 prize)

    • Sanjana Surange (Marketing, Mays, Texas A&M) for "Motion, Promotion, and the Pandemic: The Impact of COVID-19 on Consumer Mobility, Store Visits and Consumer Response to Geofenced Promotions" (Advisor: Venkatesh Shankar)
    • Hsuan-Che (Brad) Huang (Behavioral Science, Sauder, UBC) for "Unlocking Creativity Using Artificial Intelligence: The Goldilocks (Curvilinear) Effect of Human-AI Collaboration" (Single author)
    • Yuan Yuan (Marketing, Tepper, Carnegie-Mellon) for "Clean Up The Act: Impact of Privacy Streaming on Live Streaming Influencers" (Co-advisors: Nikhil Malik and Kannan Srinivasan)
