Join us at this year's edition of the annual PDW on occupations and professions research at the Academy of Management Conference. This year we will explore the theme, 'Occupations and Professions as a Lens for Studying Pressing Societal Challenges'. Through presentations from leading scholars, interactive panel discussions and roundtable breakouts we will seek to answer two questions: How can scholarship on occupations and professions inform and enrich our understanding of pressing societal challenges? And how can scholars of occupations expand their methodological toolkit to study these phenomena? As always, a further goal of this PDW will be to build community among scholars engaged in research on occupations.

    Panel Participants:

    • Callen Anthony, New York University
    • Matthew Beane, UC Santa Barbara
