    Dear colleagues,

    Join us in Chicago for an exciting Professional Development Workshop (PDW) that explores the growing role of AI in accelerating scientific innovation. We will integrate insights from various disciplines including economics, sociology, computational social science, and management, to examine how AI tools and methodologies are transforming the landscape of scientific inquiry and innovation. This workshop aims to encourage discussions on the specialized role of AI, human-AI interaction, the impact of institutions, and strategic interactions in the commercialization of new knowledge and technologies. Participants will gain comprehensive insights into how AI-enabled and augmented processes may shape the future of innovation trajectories, policy implications, and societal welfare.

    -       Location: Sheraton, Michigan B – Level 2 

    -       Format: Panel presentations are open to all attendees; Roundtable paper workshop require pre-registration.

    How to “Pre-Register”

    Participants are expected to share their 3-5 extended abstract and gain insights from panelists and peers. Accepted participants will be notified of their assignment of table end of July. Ph.D. students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty are encouraged to apply.

    Accepted pre-registrants will exchange paper ideas and feedback with panelists and other roundtable participants.
