Dear colleagues,
The strategy area in the Department of Management at Drexel University's LeBow College of Business invites applications to our PhD program for the fall term 2023. Our goal is to train outstanding scholars and inspiring teachers. To that end, our PhD program offers full funding (including stipend, tuition, and benefits) for five years. We also provide a research budget that students can use for their research and professional development such as traveling to conferences. Our program boasts close, intimate interactions between faculty and students and among student cohorts, as well as a collegial and supportive environment that is conducive to collaboration and student success.
The Department of Management has many outstanding faculty with research and teaching interests that span different areas of management including strategic management and technology and innovation management. Our strategy faculty members have published in top journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Organization Science, Management Science, MIS Quarterly, and Strategic Management Journal. They serve as editors, associate editors and editorial board members of leading journals in the field.
Drexel Lebow is located in Philadelphia, U.S.A., which features vibrant city life at a relatively moderate cost. One can easily get around the city without a car, as public transportation has made Philly a very commuter-friendly city.
