Who should apply: We welcome applications from students at any stage of a PhD program. Participation in the doctoral consortium does not prohibit you from participating in this workshop.
Description: This Research Development Workshop (RDW) is designed as an idea-, paper-, and dissertation- development feedback meeting for PhD students interested in technology, innovation, creativity, product development, and related topics. Students may be at any stage of a PhD program, and similarly, the ideas brought to the workshop can range from initial ideas of a paper or dissertation to ideas stemming from a fully-developed paper. The workshop will be comprised of a panel discussion of what makes quality research, as well as extensive time dedicated to round table conversations about submitted research ideas from doctoral students.
Faculty mentors: Mentors include scholars whose research focuses on TIM areas. Confirmed faculty mentors thus far include (in alphabetical order by last name): Juan Alcacer (HBS), Seth Carnahan (WashU), Gaetan de Rassenfosse (EPFL), Giada Di Stefano (Bocconi), Rob Seamans (NYU), Abhishek Nagaraj (Berkeley), Keyvan Vakili (LBS). Participation is limited to 30 students.
