The proposed PDW is meant to serve as a forum during the 2017 GDO program where participants can share personal narratives or "stories" relating to gender and diversity with the aim to convey defining moments in the storyteller's professional journeys when he/she realized that diversity matters. These narratives will not only relate personal experiences of moments of challenge and set- back, of triumph and resilience, and/or of celebration and harmony, but will also serve as a foundation to spark further sharing from the PDW participants. Through this sharing and pursuant discussions, participants are encouraged to reflect on their own experiences and journeys and to share key insights with others.
