This Professional Development Workshop brings together winners and finalists from the SAP Teaching Innovation Competition to showcase high-impact, practice-based pedagogical approaches and help participants design their own.

Panelists:

·      Maria Andrea de Villa – EAFIT

·      Martha Reyes – EAFIT

·      Mazi Raz -  IVEY Business School

·      Patia McGrath – Rotterdam School of Management

·      Jonas Spengler – Cambridge Judge School of Business

PART 1 GET INSPIRED

The session opens with rotating Innovation Spotlights, where awardees present teaching innovations ranging from strategy-practice simulations and sociomaterial exercises to micro-ethnographic activities and artefact-based methods.

PART 2 DESIGN YOUR OWN

Participants then move into facilitated Co-Design Roundtables, where they prototype an original teaching activity using structured templates and expert feedback.

PART 3 LEAVE WITH A PLAN

The session closes with structured peer coaching, a collective synthesis of design principles and action plans

The PDW is especially relevant for doctoral students, early-career scholars, and experienced faculty seeking to incorporate experiential and practice-based learning into their courses.
