    Dear Jennifer,

I found these two very useful. I am leaning towards Colquitt et al for undergraduate students.

    Robbins, S.P. & Judge, T.A. (2013). Organizational behavior (15th ed.). Upper Saddle River, N.J.: Pearson/Prentice Hall. (E-book is available)

Colquitt, J., Lepine, J. A., & Wesson, M. J. (2009). Organizational behavior: Improving performance and commitment in the workplace. McGraw-Hill/Irwin.

My university adopts for undergrads the ROBBINS & JUDGE, Organizational Behavior, 17th edition, Prentice Hall.

Dr. Wisanupong suggested these two and I would have to vote for Robbins and Judge as that is what I used as a student in grad school. The book was so easy to understand that I kept it and used in my doctoral classes.

I am teaching an undergrad class in psychology, but this book text cuts across both organizational psychology and OB. It's new, fresh, lots of great examples.

    Jennifer,

I would be remiss if I didn't recommend my brand new text with Chris and Anna Kayes.  It's a highly customizable book with lots of features (overviews, in-depth readings, cases, exercises).  Please see cover attached.   It's called:  "Contemporary Organizational Behavior: From Ideas to Action"  and is published by Pearson (2016).  Authors are: Elsbach, Kayes, Kayes.

    Dear Jennifer,

I reviewed most of the major texts last summer for my course. My favorite was Colquitt, LePine, and Wesson's Organizational Behavior. It is recent, has great experiential exercises, cases and video suggestions. Also good international OB options. Check it out!

    Hi Jennifer,

I have been using an OB textbook written by Talya Bauer and Berrin Erdogan for last 3 years. The book provides a nice coverage of traditional OB topics in a contemporary manner. It is full of useful case studies and exercises, and is very affordable. Here are the details:

    Organizational Behavior, v 1.1. eISBN: 978-1-4533-2768-5

Authors: Talya Bauer & Berrin Erdogan

There are a lot of Robbins and Judge and Colquitt et al. recommendations, but after using both I find the Colquitt book to be much more student (and instructor) friendly. It is well laid out and builds upon an OB model.

    Good luck!

    Dear Jennifer:

I am teaching Organizational Behavior again after a period of about 10 years--amazing that I haven't taught the course that I was hired to teach for such a long period of time!   In any case, I just adopted Scandura's book.  It's relatively inexpensive (which is important for my students), but is easy to use and there is a lot of support material.  Si I support Dr. Graen's recommendation.  If you're investigating, I strongly recommend that you look into that option.  --  Gayle

    Dear Jennifer,

A lot of great suggestions have been done already. I have also worked with the Robbins et al. book before and it worked quite well. It is a comprehensive book that students can appreciate and understand well. Recently, I have been using two different books that I would also like to mention to you. For my European-oriented OB course, I use the book from Sinding et al. (ISBN-13 9780077154615). It has a lot of nice European examples and cases which helps to allow our mostly Dutch students to identify more with the materials. For my international business OB course I use Kreitner & Kinicki (ISBN-13 9780078029363). What I like about this book is that it covers all the main OB topics and at the same time incorporates some of the most recent research findings and perspectives. During the past two years, students have not mention anything to me about not liking these books or about the books being hard to read, which is another signal that it is well suited for an undergraduate course on OB.

    Good luck!

    All the best,

    Jos
