Tenure Track Position in Human Resource Management
THE UNIVERSITY OF LETHBRIDGE is seeking applications for one tenure track position at the Assistant Professor rank in Human Resource Management/Organizational Behaviour on our Lethbridge Campus beginning on July 1, 2016. The successful candidate will be required to teach classes such as compensation and benefits, training and development, staffing, organizational behaviour and managerial skills development. Candidates should possess a PhD before our anticipated start date, but highly qualified ABD candidates will be considered. The applicant must have a demonstrated ability to conduct high quality academic research and a commitment to innovative and effective teaching. Faculty of Management
The Faculty of Management values both teaching and research excellence and maintains close ties with the community through our experiential programs. Students have the opportunity to concentrate their studies in several majors, including Human Resources and Labour Relations (HRLR). The HRLR major is experiencing strong enrolments. There are approximately 55 full-time faculty and 2100 undergraduate majors located on our Lethbridge and Calgary campuses. The Faculty of Management supports cross-disciplinary research and encourages faculty to work with graduate students in our research-based M.Sc. in Management program.
