Dear colleagues,
We are organizing a Professional Development Workshop (PDW) for the upcoming AOM Annual Meeting titled "A Window into Relational Thinking: Cross-Boundary Collaboration in Social Network Research." Following our previous call, we have had a great response from many scholars. To ensure a balanced and diverse discussion, we are now particularly looking for roundtable facilitators with expertise or interest in the following areas:
· Strategy and Alliances
· Healthcare
· Innovation Ecosystems
· AI and the Future of Work
· Other related areas (we welcome diverse perspectives and topics beyond listed above)
We are especially recruiting advanced PhD students, postdocs, and early-career scholars in these fields to help guide small-group discussions. As a reminder, this is not a teaching role; facilitators will help structure the dialogue, connect perspectives, and support participants in developing cross-boundary research ideas.
This is a great opportunity to:
· Engage with scholars across divisions and research areas.
· Build new research connections and visibility within the AOM community.
· Contribute to an innovative, collaboration-focused PDW.
If you are interested, please complete this short form: https://forms.gle/kp8g538nMPhw4wV99
We also welcome general participation in the PDW and encourage you to share this opportunity with colleagues or students in the fields mentioned above.
Thank you, and we hope to see you at AOM.
Warm regards,
Aarn Cao Illinois Institute of Technology
