Dear Conflict Management community,

Welcome to the CM Division website where you can learn about our activities and the accomplishments of our members. We are a community that focuses on the nature and management of conflict. You will see the multi-disciplinary, multi-level, and multi-method nature of our domain reflected in the annual AOM conference program that we sponsor, the awards and grants that we give, as well as our professional development events that continue all year (not just at the conference). Please take a few minutes to explore our website and get in touch with anyone on the executive team if you have ideas or interests to share. We sincerely like to hear from you, and we also encourage you to share your own news directly with the division!

For the coming year, we plan to build on momentum that our previous leaders have created. In 2021, we completed a five-year review, adjusted to our new hybrid/online reality, and listened carefully to our members. The current executive team has been hard at work to respond and create meaningful initiatives (as well as the systems and processes to support them). The division’s strong financial standing gives us room to maneuver. We have been deepening existing partnerships and creating new ones to leverage our resources. Stay tuned to hear about grants, seminars, and events that will enhance the research, teaching, and practice of our small, but vibrant CM Division.

We look forward to interacting and connecting with you!

Kristin Behfar

CM Division Chair
