Welcome to 2023!

Dear Conflict Management community,

Welcome to the CM Division website, where you explore the many facets of conflict management addressed in our division, from interpersonal conflict to international conflict, team negotiation to restorative justice, across settings that include mediated, organizational, and political. As a division, we have partnered with programs such as the Harvard’s Program on Negotiation, Kellogg’s Dispute Resolution Research Center, and the International Association for Conflict Management to offer opportunities and support for our members, for awards, and especially for doctoral students. Further, the CM division offers learning opportunities offered throughout the year. This is a wonderful division to be involved in, and it’s an excellent one for connecting with other like-minded scholars.

Please take a few minutes to explore our website. We have opportunities to become more involved in the division in a variety of ways, from leadership roles to our relatively new Scholars in Residence program. We would love to have you take part in the many possibilities the CM division offers to engage with our CM community. And if you have news to share to the CM division membership, please let us know.

The current executive team is hard at work preparing a great conference for our division in Boston. And be sure to check out our messages on CM news to hear about upcoming events and opportunities offered through the CM division.

We look forward to interacting and connecting with you throughout the year, and I hope to see you in Boston!
