Health Care Management HCM

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:  Successful candidates will have an earned doctorate or be a doctoral candidate in a field relevant to the position, evidence of the potential for scholarly research and demonstrate the potential to gain grant funding from external agencies and/or organizations.  Preference will be given to candidates with the following academic and/or research backgrounds: Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Biostatistics/Statistics, Epidemiology or Health Finance/Insurance.  Candidates with established research programs will be considered for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor.  Salary is commensurate with experience.

*Demonstrated success in teaching and working with adult learners
*Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with persons of diverse backgrounds in a participatory academic environment
*Demonstrated ability to use technology and apply it to the learning environment
*Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
*Demonstrated ability to articulate and implement academic programs consistent with the school's mission and educational philosophy

Preferred Qualifications

*Experience teaching undergraduate or graduate courses in online delivery models
*Experience with course and program development at the bachelor and/or master's degree level

*Knowledge of, or experience with higher education accreditation helpful
*Ability to develop productive relationships with major healthcare organizations and corporations
