    Dear Colleagues,

It is with pleasure that we request your cooperation and assistance in an important step toward undertaking the next phase of the GLOBE Research Project, titled GLOBE 2020 (globeproject.com).

As you may be aware, the GLOBE (Global Leadership and Organizational Behavior Effectiveness) research project started in the early 1990s and has resulted in the publication of many award-winning books and hundreds of journal articles. Over 250 scholars have been involved in the various phases of GLOBE research.

GLOBE 2020 is the next phase of the project, focusing on the drivers and dynamics of culture change and trust building in societies.  We recently completed the pilot test of our instruments with over 1000 managers in 5 countries. We conducted the required analyses and finalized our instruments on Feb. 18, 2019.  The instrument contains questions about cultural practices, trust building criteria, and leadership expectations. It is internet based and takes 20-25 minutes to complete.

We are writing to invite your nominations for Country Co-Investigators (CCIs) to participate in the collection of data, through surveys of middle managers in Latin American and Caribbean countries.  To collect data from over 300 managers in each country, we need multiple investigators.  There are many benefits to becoming a CCI, some of which are listed on our website: https://www.globeproject.com/globe_2020.

If you or your colleagues are able to collect data in any of the above countries and would like to know more about becoming a GLOBE CCI, please contact Professor Mansour Javidan at the address below.

    Thank you for your consideration.
