Call for Proposals to Host the Biannual International Meeting of the Iberoamerican Academy of Management

The Iberoamerican Academy of Managament (IAM) is pleased to issue a call for proposals to host its biannual international meeting to take place in December 2017 and December 2019. This conference series has been instrumental in promoting cross-country research, collaboration between scholars, and facilitating dialogue between scholars and practitioners. Those interested in hosting an upcoming IAM conference should contact Professor Pascual Berrone (Chair of IAM's Conference Location Selection Committee) at pberrone@iese.edu and Professor Herman Aguinis (IAM's President) at haguinis@indiana.edu before May 1, 2014.

Past conferences have taken place in the following locations (the 2015 conference will be in Santiago, Chile, hosted by Universidad del Desarrollo):

    ·       São Paulo, Brazil (2013 – Hosted by EAESP – FGV)

    ·       Lima, Perú (2011 - Hosted by ESAN University)

    ·       Buenos Aires, Argentina (2009 - Hosted by IAE Business School)

The IAM meeting provides a great opportunity for the host institution and its faculty to communicate their leadership and expertise in management research and engage with leading scholars in the region and get involved in a strong research network.

We are now calling for proposals to host meetings in 2017 and 2019. The conference must be held during the month of December. It often lasts three days, with the first day dedicated to the Doctoral Consortium, Opening Ceremony, and Welcome Cocktail/Reception.
