    Dear Colleagues,

We are kindly asking for your help in identifying exceptional students for the newly-designed Management and Strategy PhD Program at George Washington University's School of Business (GWSB), with admittance to the program for up to four students for the Fall of 2016.

    About our program

Our five-year, full-time doctoral program is AACSB-accredited and prepares students to engage in high-quality research and pursue careers as faculty members at top academic research institutions. It offers a balanced array of core courses and doctoral seminars, with students being able to tailor their study program to their interests through electives. Our program also emphasizes close faculty-student engagement on research projects. Our students regularly present their research at prestigious conferences, and many have publications prior to graduation. Our students also have strong job placements, obtaining positions at universities worldwide. Students in our program receive tuition remission, a generous stipend ($30,000 per year for 5 years), health insurance, and access to research funds. Our program also fosters a cohesive environment through the Doctoral Student Association, which is dedicated to providing a sense of community and a support network for doctoral students (http://business.gwu.edu/programs/doctoral-programs/doctoral-student-association/).

Acceptance to our PhD program is highly competitive. We look not only for strong academic backgrounds, but also real-world experience, and the initiative and intellectual curiosity to break new ground.
