To all Iberoamerican Academy of Management members.

If anyone is interested in attending the 3rd annual Research in Management Learning and Education (RMLE) Unconference taking place in Lima, Peru next June (see attached call for contributors for more information), there is only one day left to submit your short proposal.

The EAM-I submission deadline has been extended to 7:00am US EST on December 11 for applications to the 2015 Unconference. Submissions to this event are designed to be very easy to write as they are short summaries (500 words maximum) of people's questions, ideas, or concerns related to research topics in the area of management learning and education. Co-authorship is welcomed as are ideas that are "outside" of the traditional management research and scholarship box. Given that the 2015 Unconference is being held in Peru, it would be fantastic if we could have a large number of contributors who are familiar with, and ideally actively embedded in, the Latin American management education and learning community.

There is a truly amazing group of editors coming to attend the event; at least one of the editor-in-chiefs from each of the "top 4" MLE journals will be there. Anyone who is interested in extending current research/practice in the domain of management learning and education should have a highly productive and engaging time at this event. The Unconference provides participants with an opportunity to sit down with editors and board members of the top journals as well as other knowledgeable, thoughtful, and passionate RMLE faculty to talk about how to move our research interests forward and translate them into further publications, grants, partnerships, etc. Every idea is welcomed and every participant is an active contributor.

If you are interested in attending this event but will be unable to put together a short submission before the Thursday morning deadline, please email me prior to the deadline and we'll go from there.

Here's hoping we will see some of you in Lima!

    Cheers, Amy
