    Dear Colleagues,

Like many of you, I just returned from the fabulous 9th Bi-Annual Meetings of the Iberoamerican Academy of Management in Santiago, Chile. With 234 submissions from numerous countries and addressing diverse topics, and the backdrop of the beautiful snow-capped Andes, the conference was a complete success. Thank you to Jose Ernesto Amorós and his team from Universidad de Desarollo for being such incredible hosts. The December 2017 conference will be in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA-the first time the Iberoamerican meetings will take place in North America.

An issue that was discussed in many sessions was doctoral training and education. Please see the announcement below. This workshop offers a wonderful opportunity.

    All the best,

    --Herman.
