IX INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

October 30^th - 31^st , 2014. Seville (Spain)


The Departments of Business Administration from Pablo de Olavide University, and Cadiz University, announce the IX International Workshop on Human Resource Management that is scheduled by October 30^th -31^st 2014 in Seville, Spain.

The workshop offers the possibility to discuss the most important aspects of Human Resource Management. Every edition we have the keynotes from international researchers on HRM. Last Workshops included as guest speakers from the U.S. Professors Michael Hitt (Texas A&M University); Randall Schuler and Susan Jackson (Rutgers University); Angelo DeNisi (Tulane University); David Lepak (Rutgers University); Anne Tsui (Arizona State University); John E. Delery (University of Arkansas, USA) or Luis Gomez-Mejía (Texas A&M University, USA). From Europe, guest speakers were Professors Michael Poole (Cardiff Business School); Paul Sparrow (University of Sheffield); Patrick Gunnigle (University of Limerick); Jaap Paauwe (Tilburg University); Paul Boselie (Utrecht University &Tilburg University, The Netherlands) or Wolfgang Mayrhofer (Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria).

 

This edition guest speakers are:

• Herman Aguinis (Indiana University, USA)

• Riccardo Peccei (King´s College London, OK).

 
Deadlines:

• 1^st May 2014: Extended Abstract submission (pdf file, around  2000 words, including the research purpose, methodology, results and conclusions) to workhrm@upo.es
• 1^st June 2014: Information of accepted abstracts
• 15^th September 2014: Submission of full papers

General information:

• Registration fee:
  • Before Sept 15^th , 2014: 200€.
  • After Sept 15^th , 2014: 300 €.
• Ten grants would be awarded for PhD students who will pay 100€ as registration fees.
• Registration fee include lunches and proceedings.
• Papers must be presented in English.
