Dear Iberoamerican Academy of Management (IAM) Colleagues,

As is the case every year, there will be an election of IAM officers during our IAM business meeting to take place at the Academy of Management meetings in August. This year there will be vacancies for 4 vice president positions. Vice presidents are elected for a period of three years and they perform such duties as may be assigned to them by the IAM president. It is expected that each vice president will serve chair of one of various standing and ad hoc committees such as program for the IAM bi-annual conference, program for the IAM sessions at the Academy of Management meetings, bi-annual conference site selection committee, membership, or others.

As an innovation this year, the IAM Nominating Committee is soliciting self-nominations. If you are interested in being considered for the ballot, please email me a description of not more than one page including your qualifications for the position and also a separate file including your curriculum vitae. For full consideration, please email this information to me by July 16th.

    Sincerely,

    IAM Nominating Committee:

Herman Aguinis, Chair and IAM President

Julio de Castro, IAM Immediate Past President

    Luis Gomez-Mejia, IAM Past President

Maria Jose Tonelli, IAM Vice President

    Roberto Vassolo, IAM Vice President

    Herman Aguinis, Ph.D.

John F. Mee Chair of Management
