You are cordially invited to participate in the 21st FERC Spanish Discussion Group. This initiative is a virtual conversation with the aim of bringing together academics and researchers with the objective of sharing experiences, issues, projects or techniques and to increase and support the efforts to expand our knowledge regarding family business collaborating with many colleagues in the Americas, Asia and Europe, according to the founding principles of FERC (Family Enterprise Research Conference).
Next session will be held on November 19, 11:00 am ET (see below more options). Presenter: Maria-Teresa Lepeley, a Chilean-American, grew up in Chile in a family enterprise. She is President and founder of the Global Institute for Quality Education, United States. Economist, educator, entrepreneur, quality management specialist. She was Examiner of the Baldrige National Quality Award of the United States and adviser to 5 NQAs programs in Latin America (Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador). She has been Director of Executive Programs at Universidad de Chile, School of Economics and Business and at University of Connecticut, US. She has written and edited numerous articles and books. She is the founder of Routledge Book Series Human Centered Management and the forthcoming Book Series of Information Age Publishing Innovation in Innovation in Human Centered Sustainability. Her books with Routledge include "Human Centered Management. The 5 Pillars of Organizational Quality and Global Sustainability" (2017) and Wellbeing for Sustainability in the Global Workplace (Ochoa, Lepeley, Essens, 2018). She will present main aspect of the book "Human Centered Management. The 5 Pillars of Organizational Quality and Global Sustainability".
This session will be held in Spanish language, material will be presented in English. Lepeley will place special emphasis how to apply her HCM model to Family Enterprises.
