    The Management Department of the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University invites applications for a faculty position in Leadership and Business Foundations at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, Professor of Practice or Lecturer. Title and salary will commensurate with the successful candidates qualifications and experience. The position will begin in Fall 2016. This position will receive ample resources to support the development and maintenance of a program of excellence in both teaching and research. Summer teaching and research grants may also be available. An excellent benefits package includes TIAA/CREF retirement programs, life, medical, dental, and disability insurance.

    Tenure Track: A doctorate (management, business and society, sociology, etc.), demonstrated excellence in teaching, an established record of scholarship including at least one publication in an 'A' journal in leadership or business, as well as other evidence of a productive research agenda.  The nine-month faculty position will receive ample resources to support the development and maintenance of program of excellence in both teaching and research. 

     

    Professor of Practice: A doctorate and a minimum of 10 years leadership experience.  This nine-month, non-tenure track faculty position will be primarily teaching with some service and research responsibilities.

     

    Lecturer: A Master's degree with 10 years leadership experience.   This will be a nine-month, non-tenure track, teaching and service position with the opportunity for overload and extra service compensation.


    Ability to serve as a mentor, advisor and role model to students

    Ability to work productively and cooperatively with colleagues

    Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

    A strong commitment to stay current and professionally or academically qualified depending on appointment.
