Exciting and timely PDW at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management in Copenhagen: Strategy, Business, and Entrepreneurship in Conflict and Post-Conflict Zones
Sponsored by the International Management Division – Teaching Committee
In a world increasingly shaped by armed conflict, how can we meaningfully teach International Business and Strategy? Join us for a timely and interactive Professional Development Workshop that explores how businesses and entrepreneurs operate in conflict and post-conflict zones-from Ukraine to the Middle East and beyond. Panelists from five global institutions (including those in conflict zones) will share actionable insights from their own work and case studies to enrich your teaching and research. With discussions, curated materials, and a post-workshop resource hub, this PDW offers a critical platform to rethink how we approach global strategy, ethics, resilience, and opportunity in today's unstable environments.
Let's build a scholarly and pedagogical community dedicated to addressing one of the most pressing realities of our time.
Please join us on July 26 from 9:00-10:30am at the Bella Center, Hall B-B3-m4-Ground Floor. Registration is not required but helpful to have access to post-PDW resource lists. Please register here.
