    Please see this message from the DEI Division Awards Committee:

     

    The Janet Chusmir Distinguished Service Award is presented to the nominee who has made an outstanding contribution to the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Division and who has personally served as a mentor and role model for others in the field. 

     

    Nominations are evaluated based on evidence of:

    1. Service to the DEI Division
      Sustained and meaningful professional service to the Division (e.g., leadership roles, committee work, program support, or other contributions that strengthen the DEI community).

    2. Mentorship and role-model impact
      Demonstrated mentorship, sponsorship, and/or role-model influence that supports the growth and development of others in the field.

    3. Contributions that advance DEI
      Outstanding work that advances diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Academy of Management and/or within organizations particularly contributions that support the status and role of professional women and people of color.
