Call for Participants – 14th SKEMA KTO Paper Development Workshop

    June 10-12, 2026

    Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 14th SKEMA KTO Paper Development Workshop for doctoral students and young researchers. The Knowledge, Technology, and Organization (KTO) Research Center at SKEMA Business School in Sophia Antipolis (French Riviera) will host the workshop from June 10th to 12th, 2026.

The workshop is designed to foster the development of ambitious research projects and publication strategies in innovation, strategy, international business, organization, and entrepreneurship. Within a highly selective, focused cohort, participants will benefit from intensive intellectual exchange, sustained feedback, and close interaction with senior scholars actively involved in the editorial processes of leading management journals. Participants will attend seminars conducted by an outstanding group of scholars, including Lars Frederiksen (Aarhus University), Samina Karim (Northeastern University), Tobias Kretschmer (LMU), Elisa Operti (Essec Business School), Lamar Pierce (Washington University in St. Louis), Chris Rider (University of Michigan), and Francesco Castellaneta (Skema Business School).

These senior scholars will lead roundtable sessions and provide detailed, constructive feedback on participants' manuscripts. Peers within each group will also serve as junior discussants, fostering a collaborative environment grounded in mutual learning and rigorous exchange. In addition, senior scholars will be available for one-on-one meetings focused on research design, publication strategies, and broader career development. Beyond the academic rigor, the workshop's setting and the unique location on the French Riviera are designed to foster focused work, extended conversations, and lasting professional ties.

The workshop is open to all interested scholars, with priority given to advanced PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career academics. Applications should include an extended abstract (or a full paper) and a CV, and should be sent by email to kto-pdw@skema.edu, no later than March 31st, 2026. If selected, the participant should submit a full paper by May 31st, 2026.

    Key dates and further information:

    Abstract deadline: March 31st, 2026

Confirmation of acceptance: April 29th, 2026

Full paper deadline: May 31st, 2026
