Hi everyone,
If you're a CM member you should have received an email this week (sent from Survey Monkey) on behalf of the CM Division for a member survey. This is a required part of our 3-year DIG review, and we really (truly!) want to hear your thoughts. Please take a few minutes to respond to the survey asap, but at least by the deadline of Nov. 17. A special note: the links are unique so please don't forward your email to others. However, if you cannot find this email in your spam/junk/inbox/wherever, please do reach out to me and/or AOM directly and they can send your survey to a different email address. I've heard that sometimes Survey Monkey emails are getting trapped by various organizational settings, so please don't hesitate to email me-I will ensure that you get a survey link.
Think of it this way: if you complete the survey, you're doing a very useful action for the CM Division, and your Division Chair will be happy and so may share great puns with the Division in her newsletter updates and elsewhere. If you don't complete the survey, the Chair may be forced to share terrible puns with you, and no one wants that.
So to motivate you, here's a great one for today: One atom bumped into another walking down the road. "Oh no!," it said. "I've lost an electron." "Are you sure?" "I'm positive!"
On that note-please (please!) complete your member survey asap, and avoid any bad pun-ishment. Thank you!
