I am pleased to share a call for papers for a Special Issue of Human Resource Management Journal titled "New Vistas for Human Resource Management Research in the Global South," guest edited by Ajnesh Prasad, Martyna Śliwa, Amon Barros, and Ghazal Zulfiqar, with Jeoung Yul Lee serving as the HRMJ editor.
The Special Issue addresses several conversations of interest to DEI scholars, for instance, academics researching inequality, exclusion, and informality. We are especially interested in work that examines Global South contexts not simply as sites for applying existing theories, but as grounds for developing new conceptual, theoretical, and methodological insights into diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The submission deadline is 31 December 2026. We welcome conceptual, empirical, and methodological submissions.
