It is my great pleasure to invite you to contribute to the 4th Edition of the Digital Transformation Society International Conference (DTS 2026), to be held on 20–23 May 2026 at the University of Naples Parthenope, Italy. The updated call for papers, listing the 32 conference tracks, is attached.
Co-chaired by Prof. Nessrine Omrani (Paris School of Business) and me, this year's conference will revolve around the theme:
"Digital Transformation? Handle with Care."
Keynote speaker: Christoper Tucci, Imperial College London (UK)
The event will critically explore both the opportunities and risks of digital transformation, with special attention to its ethical, social, and environmental implications. We welcome full papers and extended abstracts that address, among others, the following topics:
* The "dark side" of digital transformation and AI
* AI-driven transformation in firms, communities, and societies
* Digital servitization and value co-creation
* Smart mobility and logistics
* Finance and ESG perspectives on digital transformation
* Sustainability, circular economy, and responsible AI
* Digital transformation in SMEs, family firms, and across industries (healthcare, agrifood, tourism, etc.)
* Cybersecurity, marketing, consumer behaviour, and branding in the digital era
In addition to papers presentations, DTS 2026 will offer a rich set of opportunities, including "Meet the Editor" sessions with editors of leading journals such as Research Policy, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of Management Studies, and European Journal of Innovation Management.
