MCD Members!
The MC Division, with support from the Academy of Management (AOM), offers a Travel Award Program to ease the financial burden of members seeking to attend the AOM conference.
The Program provides a limited number of travel awards to support travel costs related to the 2026 Annual Meeting, but they are not intended to directly pay for Annual Meeting registration or membership fees. A travel award recipient has discretion to apply their received award money to various travel-related aspects of the 2026 Annual Meeting, such as airfare, train, food, hotel, or other travel-related costs. Please note that travel awards cannot be applied to Annual Meeting registration fees that have already been paid.
We encourage all eligible members who find themselves in need of financial assistance to apply. To be eligible for an MC Division travel award, applicants must be a registered member of the MC Division at the time of application.
After establishing eligibility based on the above criterion, priority will be given to:
- Applicants who have not previously received financial support from the MC Division
- Doctorate students
- International faculty
- Applicants who will be participating in an MC Division sponsored session (e.g., PDW organizer, panelist, consortium attendee, discussant, paper/symposium presenter)
To apply, complete the MC Division Travel Award form.
The application deadline is May 15th. Applicants will be notified of their travel award status shortly after the deadline.
