    Dear colleagues,

    On behalf of my co-organizers Daniel Paulino Teixeira Lopes (Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais), Gregory Pogue, (University of Texas at Austin, USA), Kadígia Faccin (Fundação Dom Cabral) e Ricardo Reolon (UFABC), and myself, I would like to invite you to submit your best work to the PDW on The future of innovation and entrepreneurship: Revisiting the role of Universities, February 26th 2024.

    This PDW has two goals: announce the call of paper at RAE (Revista de Administracao de Empresas) and provide feedback to selected papers, before their final submission to the CoP. In the first half of the PDW (2:30 PM to 3:30PM), we will present the Call of Papers, followed by a Q&A session. Anyone can register for this first half. In the second half of the PDW (3:30PM to 4:30PM), only selected authors will participate. Invited experts will provide feedback to authors on the selected papers.

    We welcome empirical and theoretical submissions. Relevant topics include, but are not limited to: Antecedents and outcomes of Universities in the context of innovation and entrepreneurship; Incentives for building and fostering Entrepreneurial Universities; Engaged Universities or other models;           Governance processes and the plurality of universities stakeholders to promote innovation and entrepreneurship; Cultural aspects of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the construction of Entrepreneurial Universities; Engaged Universities or other models; the embeddedness of Universities within their communities; Comparative studies of Entrepreneurial Universities: differences between South and North Global, between central and peripheral regions; Process of implementation and management of Entrepreneurial University model or other models; Unintended consequences of the Entrepreneurial University model; Policy and societal challenges to EU model and the role of academic institutions;       New business models for universities in the context of innovation and entrepreneurship.

    The deadline for the first, second or both parts of the PDW is February 4th, 2024. To register to the PDW and/or submit a paper please fill this form: https://forms.gle/85CHKQznzJ3mzpy79 Paper submissions should include either a full paper or short paper (minimum 6 pages), containing: introduction/research question, methods, main results, and references. Authors chosen to present papers will be notified approximately by February 9th.
