    Topic Overview: Conceptual clarity and sound measurement are at the core of rigorous research, yet management scholars continue to face recurring challenges in defining constructs and developing valid measurement tools. This session will explore the definitional issues and measurement challenges that cut across all areas of management research. We will highlight how best practices in conceptualization and scale development can improve the quality and credibility of scholarly work. Participants will gain insights into common pitfalls, strategies for enhancing construct clarity, and practical guidance for designing and using measurement scales in their own research.
