The IM Division AmorePacific Outstanding Educator Award recognizes continuous excellence and innovation in teaching international management, at all levels and in a global context. The award is selected by the Division's Professional Awards Committee, chaired by the Past Division Chair and consisting of the three past chairs and two recent winners of the IM Division Hyundai Motor Eminent Scholar Award. This year, the committee was comprised of Nandini Lahiri (Chair, 2025 IM Division Past Chair), Julian Birkinshaw (2025 Eminent Scholar), Yadong Luo (2024 Eminent Scholar), Grazia Santangelo (2024 IM Division Past Chair) and William Newburry (2023 IM Division Past Chair). Dr. Paula Caligiuri is a DMSB Distinguished Professor of International Business at Northeastern University, where she teaches courses on global leadership, soft skills development, and cross-cultural effectiveness. Her academic work has appeared in top journals, and she has been a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and NGOs.
As a co-founder of Skiilify, Paula is on a mission to make soft skills measurable, teachable, and truly transformational. Skiilify's platform, myGiide, is used by universities and companies in over 120 countries today.
Paula has authored or co-authored several books, including Cultural Agility: Build a Pipeline of Successful Global Professionals and Build Your Cultural Agility. She is also the instructor for two widely viewed LinkedIn Learning courses: Managing Globally and Six Skills to Build Cultural Agility.
