My apologies for cross-posting
Colleagues -
For all those interested in entrepreneurship education, I would like to "introduce" you to Quipu (https://quipuapps.com/).
Quipu holds the promise of changing the paradigm of entrepreneurship education to allow every educator to teach through entrepreneurship instead of about entrepreneurship, and to allow every student to actually practice entrepreneurship instead of just learn about it. Quipu offers easy-to-use, comprehensive mobile and cloud solutions for business modeling (Business Model Canvas and the customer development process), business planning, feasibility analysis, financial analysis (proforma and historical), and strategy analysis (SWOT, Porter, BCG, GE-McKinsey). By using this suite of tools, Quipu has created a web and mobile software that enable entrepreneurship educators to create, integrate, and develop curricula and co-curricular educational experiences for use in the higher education classroom that includes, but is not limited to, strategic planning, business model development, opportunity recognition, product entry, intellectual property, project management, legal requirements, business planning, and business constraints.
In short, Quipu offers a platform to engage students like never before using the technology they want to use and the tools and methods we professors want to use. It's a perfect marriage of active student participation and learning enhancement!
I am very excited about the promise Quipu holds for my classrooms, and for the whole of entrepreneurship education. If you're interested in invigorating your classroom with experiential learning, I would strongly suggest you investigate the solutions Quipu has to offer.
If you are in Boston for the AOM meetings, George Ritchie is here with Quipu and would welcome the opportunity to give you a demo or answer any questions. You can contact him directly at 610-570-9890 or George@quipuapps.com.
Thank you for your time, and I promise you won't regret spending a few minutes to learn about Quipu - it will change your and your students' experiences!
