AOM Annual Meeting Attendees: The Department of International Business of HEC Montréal is recruiting new faculty members (full‐time Assistant, Associate or Full Professor) to start June 2020. We have particular needs in the fields of International Management and International Strategic Management, but will also consider excellent candidates from other domains of international business. The successful candidate will engage in high‐quality research and teaching on the changing global economic landscape and the practical challenges that it entails for companies.

Department of International Business: The Department of International Business (www.hec.ca/affint) consists of 17 full‐time professors from diverse disciplinary backgrounds. Faculty members have published their research in various leading academic journals including Econometrica, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Economic Geography, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Management Science, Regional Studies, Research Policy, Strategic Management Journal and World Development. The Department offers a broad selection of MBA courses in international business, an international business major and minor at the B.A.A. level, a M.Sc. in international business, and an international business major at the Ph.D. level.
Requirements: Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Degree in international business or a related field by June 1, 2020.
- An established record or high potential of solid scholarly research commensurate with rank.
- Passionate about teaching and interacting with students at various levels.
- Willing to learn French. The School's inception program provides excellent support, including teaching load reduction to become fluent in French within two years.
